Copper Jewelry

Copper jewelry is commonly blended with gold and silver to create a harder mix. The resultant solution retains the color and texture of gold or silver but loses some of the malleability that the precious metals are known for. It will also push the melting point higher. This allows jewelers to create a more resilient piece of art. It is also used in the soldering process to create solid seals that stick.

Copper jewelry comes in bracelets, rings, headbands, necklaces and a variety of other assortments. It is commonly paired with deep bold colors because of its glow and brilliance, in terms of polished non-patina copper.

Patina copper is also commonly used because of its beauty and random coloration because of the oxidizing process. There is the potential to get a variety of shades of green with the right artisan touch. For this reason, it is considered regal and comes in diskettes that are banded together with green or brown twine or string.
